As we enter into this new season, my appreciation for God is at an all-time high as I continue to see Him show up in the lives of His people. This year continues to be one of the best, and I am so excited about what the Lord is doing! As we prepare to celebrate Easter, I want us to remain focused on the reasons why we acknowledge this holiday as a special time. Too often, religious holidays become, well, religious. However, I want us to really take time to think about what Easter really means to us. One thing is for sure; it has nothing to do with a bunny or brightly colored eggs! Quite the contrary, Easter is the time when Believers celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It is because of His sacrifice on the cross and His victory over death, Hell, and the grave that we are able to partake of the covenant promises of God. His ultimate triumph over the enemy has given us a right to walk in His authority. This is why we celebrate Easter.
Jesus’ resurrection provided a doorway for us to enter into a life of abundance, prosperity, blessings, peace, joy, and freedom. No longer do we have to put up with the effects of sin, sickness, poverty, or any other negative result of the curse. We have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus and now walk in the newness of life that Jesus bought and paid for us. Praise God, it is this new life that has been imparted to every one who has received Him in their heart.

As the world’s financial institutions begin to crumble, it is critical that we keep our eyes focused on God’s way of doing things, both from a spiritual and natural perspective.
