There are so many wonderful things happening in the body of Christ, and we continue to hear testimonies of God’s goodness and power impacting peopleís lives like never before. The great things God is doing are not happening by accident; they are happening because Believers everywhere are trusting God’;s Word and putting corresponding action to their faith. One of the corresponding actions that is absolutely necessary in order to see the promises of God manifest in your life is making faith confessions. At the same time, you should also be mindful not to speak contrary to the Word of God while you are awaiting the manifestation of the promise. This is going to be a major key to getting continued results from the Word of God and releasing the power of God in the earth in these last days.
I cannot emphasize enough the importance of speaking the right words. There is not a day that goes by that I do not speak Godís Word over my life and over the lives of my family, loved ones, partners, and the members of my congregation. I also speak the Word of God over those in authority in this nation. Words are so powerful because they are spiritual containers that contain either faith or fear. The words we speak are always depositing something. We have to be choosy with our words because they activate the blessing or the curse, angels or demons. Spiritual forces are released through the words of our mouth, and we can actually determine the course of our lives through our words. For this reason, we must make sure we are constantly declaring what God has said about us while refusing to receive negative words from others or from the devil himself. Satan will whisper things into our minds and try to get us to speak them because he knows if we do, we have turned on a law that will give him the ability to get involved with our affairs.
One of the ways to become more conscious of your words is to begin meditating on the Word of God more frequently and asking the Lord to remind you when you have said something that does not line up with the Scriptures. The Holy Spirit will alert you when you have said something wrong. When He does, simply make the correction by declaring the Word of God. In doing so, you cancel out your negative confession.

Taffi’s article on how to avoid being led by your emotions is also very timely because words have the potential to shape the way you feel, and when your feelings are not in line with the Word, they will move you to act in ways that eventually lead you down the wrong path. This issue of CHANGE magazine is going to bless you and equip you with what you need to be victorious in life.
Taffi and I continue to praise God for the amazing things He is doing this year, and we are looking forward to much more before the year is over. This year has been a monumental time of faith and restoration through the preaching and teaching of the Gospel around the world, and our expectation is that many more lives will be impacted by the Word of God.
